I know virtually nothing about Detecto other than what I gleam from this advertisement from a 1970 salesman's catalogue. Clicking on the image will launch a marvelous animation created by Jeff Tucker, a devoted Ding and Zeroid fan. Jeff has also created a full length Zeroid animated available from PlanetZeroid. Using incredible ingeniuty a few other collectors have crafted their own.
