The following commercial is a promotional piece originally used to pitch the Ding-A-Ling toy line to potential retailers. Clearly shot with Ding-A-Ling prototypes the film gives us a glimpse into color schemes and designs that differ substantially from the final product. Take note of Rocky (blue body instead of green) and the lettering on King Ding's chest as well as the Ding on the “monitor” in the back of King Ding’s head. The film also shows us a motorized Brain that clearly traveled on the Skyway track. The track is orange instead of blue, the supports are yellow instead of orange, and the Ding-A-Ling Mobile windscreen is much taller.
